Local Celebrities Squaring Off in Dance Competition for Atlanta Nonprofit EDIN
ATLANTA — Fashioned after hit shows So You Think You Can Dance™ and Dancing with the Stars™, the Eating Disorders Information Network (EDIN) and Dance 101 have joined forces to create the Celebrity Dance Challenge™.
Atlanta celebrities have partnered with Dance 101 instructors and are rehearsing now for the competition, scheduled to take place at the 14th Street Playhouse on November 19. The public will determine the winner of EDIN’s Celebrity Dance Challenge™ by voting for their favorite celebrity at www.dancingforselfesteem.org. Anyone can cast a vote by making a $1 tax-deductible contribution to EDIN.
EDIN will be collecting votes online in the weeks preceding the event and during the final performance. Advance tickets to the Celebrity Dance Challenge™ are $25 plus taxes and box office fees; $30 tickets will be sold at the door.
