Most Anticipated Match-ups of the Season – It’s All About the Game!!

November 2009/DIRA/Smyrna, GA. – Davi Image and Resource Agency in conjunction with HRM Sports and Consulting presents the 2009 Elite 8 Thanksgiving Hardwood Classic (EETHC). This awesome four game basketball showdown will take place at Georgia State University Sports Arena on Saturday, November 21, 2009.

The Elite 8 Thanksgiving Hardwood Classic will tip-off the Georgia high school basketball season with some of the best match-ups of the 2009-2010 high school basketball season featuring several nationally ranked players in the country, Shannon Scott, Julian Royal, Don Jai Parker, of Milton Adrian Rodgers of Centennial, Ryan Harrow of Walton, Donte Williams and Tony Parker of Miller Grove to name a few. The highlighted game of the event features the Milton Eagles (5A) presently nationally ranked 10th (PrepNation) and 13th (ESPN FAB 50) against the defending 4A champion powerhouse Miller Grove in the most anticipated match-up of the season, both are pre-season picks to win the state championship in their perspective classification. These exciting and highly anticipated match-ups will give basketball fans and fanatics both young and old from across the Southeast the opportunity to witness four action packed games under one roof that will showcase a number of America’s Top 100 college recruits competing for national ranking and bragging rights.

The participating teams in the 2009 Elite 8 Thanksgiving Hardwood Classic are Centennial, Creekside, Lithia Springs, Miller Grove, Milton, Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy, Walton and Westlake High Schools.

Match-ups and game times are as follows: 2:30 p.m. Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy vs. Lithia Springs; 4:30 p.m. Walton vs. Creekside; 6:30 p.m. Westlake vs. Centennial; and 8:30 p.m. Milton vs. Miller Grove.

Tickets are $10 in Advance and $12 at venue. Tickets are available at participating schools and media outlets.
